Jon Shultz

Jon Shultz is the Director of Band at Lake Hamilton School District. He directs the marching, jazz, and concert bands. He is a graduate of Sheridan High School, and holds a Bachelor’s of Music Education degree from Henderson State University. Mr. Shultz is a National Board Certified Teacher. His bands have consistently received 1st Division ratings in the marching, jazz, and concert mediums. He has served as a clinician, marching, and concert adjudicator though out Arkansas and Texas. The Lake Hamilton High School Band has won numerous marching contests in Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma.

Mr. Shultz was the recipient of the Phi Beta Mu Outstanding Young Band Director Award for the 2004-2005 school year. He is a member of Phi Beta Mu, American School Band Directors’ Association, the Arkansas Bandmasters’ Association, the Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Association, the Four-States Bandmasters’ Association, Phi Sigma Kappa, and Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity. He and his wife Amy live in Royal, Arkansas.
